Using the AI Assistant in Wallible

How the assistant inside Wallible explains your figures and helps you use the app: what it can answer, the monthly budget, saved chats and privacy.

The assistant explains the figures on your screen and helps you use Wallible. To open it, tap the sparkle icon at the top of the screen. Some metric cards have their own sparkle icon for questions about that metric.

What you can ask

  • Your portfolios and simulations: what a metric means and what your figures show.
  • Instruments: what an instrument is and how risky it has been.
  • Using Wallible: for example how to import trades, what a screen does or what your plan includes.
  • What-if (Professional and Enterprise): on a portfolio’s screen, ask how it would have done with different weights. Results are past data, not a forecast, and a what-if uses two to three times the budget of a normal question.

Tap a suggested question to start. Where the box is shown, you can also type your own question.

What it can’t do

  • It doesn’t give personal advice. It won’t tell you what to buy, sell or hold, how to allocate your money, or what markets or returns will do.
  • It only uses the figures available on your plan. If it doesn’t have a figure, it tells you.
  • It can’t change anything in your account.

Answers are generated by AI and can contain mistakes, so check anything important against the figures on screen. Past figures don’t predict future results, and nothing the assistant says is financial advice.

Your monthly budget

The panel shows the share of your monthly budget that’s left. Each question uses part of it, and questions that need more data use more. The budget renews on the first day of each month (UTC), and higher plans have a larger one. When it runs out, the panel shows the date it renews.

Budgets are measured in tokens, the units AI models use to count text. A typical question uses about 2,000 tokens. Follow-up questions use more, because recent messages are sent again, and a question about a large stock can use several times more. The question counts below are estimates.

Saved chats

When chats are being saved, the panel tells you. They are then used to improve the assistant and are deleted 90 days after the last message.

Where follow-up questions are available, you can also:

  • Start over with New chat.
  • Find older chats under Previous chats: Here shows this screen’s chats and All shows every chat. A chat about another portfolio or instrument opens on that screen.
  • Delete a chat with the bin icon. This deletes it permanently.

A chat about a portfolio that was deleted or is no longer shared with you can’t be opened, but you can still delete it. Deleting your account deletes your chats. Budget counters hold no chat text and are removed after about 13 months.

Privacy

To generate an answer, your question and the figures it needs are sent to Google’s Gemini API. See the Privacy Policy for how Wallible handles your data.

Using your own AI app

You can also connect Claude or another external AI app to your portfolios.
