How to request a new government bond

If the ISIN of the government bond you are searching for does not appear in the Wallible database, you can manually request its addition in just a few steps.

1. Search for the ISIN

Enter the ISIN in the search bar within the Gov Bond (Beta) section.
If the bond is not available, the button will appear:

“Add Government Bond”


2. Fill in the details

By clicking the button, a form will open where you can provide the main information about the bond.
The required fields are:

  • ISIN
    The unique identifier code of the bond (e.g., IT0001247391).

  • Country
    The issuing country of the bond (e.g., 🇮🇹 Italy).

  • Issue Date
    The date when the bond was issued and started circulating.

  • Maturity Date
    The date when the principal will be repaid by the issuer.

  • Face Value
    The nominal value of the bond (e.g., €100).
    This is the base for calculating interest payments.

  • Annual Coupon and Frequency

    • The annual interest rate of the bond.
    • The payment frequency (e.g., Semi-annual, Annual, etc.).

3. Confirm the addition

Once all fields are filled:

  • Press “Add +” to save the bond.
  • Or click “Cancel” to exit without saving.
